I have created a list of the best hotels in NYC. I have chosen few of my favourite hotels, rated them so it can help you to choose the best option for you. You can find here accommodation for every type of traveller. Hotels, hostels, on budget hotel ideas, luxurious hotels or typical open space studios to live like a local.

The Time New York





The Time New York Hotel is situated on Times Square, right in the middle of  “where it’s all happening”. Very stylish hotel yet sill affordable.

Rate: around 150$/ night

Summary: 9/10 – great location, very stylish design and reasonable price for this great location

The Jane Hotel




This hip budget-friendly The Jane Hotel  formerly a lodging for sailors – is located in Greenwich village. It has classic american atmosphere and it’s affordable!

Rate: 130$/ per night and up

Summary: 7/10 – unique hotel, in great location

The Ludlow Hotel




This gorgeous & a bit more expensive Ludlow Hotel is located in Lower East Side. It’s build and themed in the 80’s style. Marble floors, Moroccan pillows, big windows & breathtaking views. That’s just a piece of what can this hotel offer.

Rate: 195/ per night

Summary: 8/10

The Paper Factory Hotel




Very stylish & very unique The Paper Factory Hotel is located in Long Island City. It’s made from century-old paper warehouse. Design is amazing. There is many catchy details such as spiral staircase made of tower of books, wooden decorative elements, spacious rooms, huge windows or 12-foot ceiling.

Location is not as great, since it’s not situated in the center, however you’ll enjoy the atmosphere of this great neighbourhood as well.

Rate: from 145$/ per night

Summary: 7/10 – interior design is amazing, I also love the uniqueness, however location is not as great & price is pretty high for Long Island

Archer Hotel




Metropolitan vibe, brick walls, leather furniture, manly look – this is Archer Hotel located in midtown.

Rate: 199$/ per night

Summary:  8/10

Arlo Soho




Fresh & Hip Arlo Hotel is situated in the heart of SoHo, Lower Manhattan. I love its fresh design – brick walls, tall ceilings, green gardens, hip rooms. It has great energy, clean rooms, great views and fantastic location.

Rate: 199/ per night

Summary: 9/10 One of my favorite hotels. Arlo is probably not one of the cheapest option, however it’s worth staying here. Location is super great because you are close to Midtown as well as lower Manhattan, Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge.

Pod 39




This is very cool hotel on a budget! Pod 39 is located in the Midtown, just a stone’s throw from the Chrysler Building. It has very playful atmosphere and urban design.

Rates: 119/ per nigh

Summary: 9,5/10 I’d give it 10, just the room-sizes are little small. Anyway this is probably the best option If you are looking for stylish, center located & budget-friendly hotel in NYC.

Hotel Belleclaire




Luxury, charismatic, elegant & regal Hotel Belleclaire is located on the Upper East Side. This classy hotel is nestled among some of the trendiest shops and restaurants. Rooms are very spacious, lighted up with sunlight and the location is fantastic.

Rates: usually 300$/ per night (you can find a room from 150$/ per night)

Summary: 7/10 very good location, luxurious design, lighted, spacious room, however pretty expensive option

The High Line Hotel




This is definitely one of the more expensive option for those who can afford it. However you’ll definitely get what you’re paid for. High Line Hotel is located in Chelsea close to High Line

Rates: from 280$/ per night

Summary: 9/10

The Marcel at Gramercy Hotel




Freshly looking The Marcel at Gramercy Hotel has very shiny colorful design, striped decoration, spacious rooms with a bit of luxury, with its amazing location could be one of the best option for you.

Rates: 180$/ per night

Summary: 7/10

The Brooklyn




If you are looking for a good hotel in Brooklyn  The Brooklyn is what I would recommend. Reasonable price for urban look hotel with 80’s style interior design in a quite location, close to Manhattan. I love this New York-y brick wall style with a touch of green.

Rates: from 160$/ per night

Summary: 8/10 Location took few points, only If you are looking for center-located hotel. Brooklyn is a great neighborhood with many possibilities, activities and places to visit & really not that far from Manhattan – just a bridge away 🙂

NOMO Soho Hotel




Absolutely gorgeous NOMO Soho Hotel located in Soho, Manhattan. It has amazing clean, light and elegant interior design set in urban, greenery exterior style. Situated in artsy, cast iron architecture neighborhood. This is one of my favorites!

Rates:  from 200$/ per night

Summary: 10/10 Yes! I would say my top hotel option. Fair-price, beautiful architecture, stylish interior design and great location.
